This is our second pot. The first one lasted 13 years and probably would have last longer if we had followed directions on use. We filled it when it was hot and a few other things. Our new one arrived fast and well packed.

Product came promptly, was well packaged. Steamer is high quality and attractive. With stovetop use and water hardness these pots do not last forever. Eventually porcelain will chip and pot will rust. Nonetheless, i recommend these steamers as a practical and attractive addition to your woodstove.

Maybe I should have called company or waited to do this survey. Not sure if the product works that great. I have to put hot water in it and I still don’t see the steam that your pictures show. Maybe it is putting moisture in the air anyway? I am using the trivet as recommended. Any suggestions? Pretty item though and fast shipping
