Used under Steamers, they protect your woodstove from scratches and also slow down the heating process (so you don’t have to fill the steamers as frequently!). But there are many other creative uses — in the kitchen under hot pans, under a potted plant, or as the base of a table centerpiece.

I like the trivet. It matches my stovetop steamer but where is it made?? Wasn’t clearly marked and I wonder if it was made in China which is very disappointing.

The trivet perfectly fit the “Bear Steamer” that was left on top of our fireplace insert, when we originally purchased our house. The steamer originally sat on the top of the insert and the water would boil out very quickly. Now it slowly leaves the steamer. Shipping was extremely quick! Received within mess than 24 hours! Definitely recommend John Wright Company!
